Join a highly regarded Chartered Accounting firm as their Accounts Officer, taking ownership of the firm's internal finance function. You'll be responsible for monthly payroll, invoicing and day-to-day accounts administration, while also supporting the wider Business Services team where required. About the Role
As the Accounts Officer, you'll oversee the firm's internal accounts function, ensuring financial processes are completed accurately and on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the firm's monthly payroll, ensuring all payroll obligations are processed accurately and on time
- Preparing and processing client invoices, monitoring accounts receivable and assisting with debtor management
- Maintaining accurate financial records, completing reconciliations and supporting the day-to-day accounts function
- Assisting the Business Services team with bookkeeping and finance-related tasks during periods of increased workflow
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of accuracy

Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Accounts Officer, Finance Officer or Bookkeeper within a professional services or public practice environment
- Demonstrated experience processing payroll, invoicing, reconciliations and general accounts administration
- Experience using Xero is essential, with FYI experience highly regarded
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
